I had been dying to try these sheet masks following all the hullabaloo around it. Now I know why everybody is going gaga about this.
Korean beauty products have hit the Indian market with a rage, and nykaa.com is making sure it’s keeping up with the demands.
I tried these two variants from a plethora of choices available- Green Tea and Tea Tree as I thought these were least reactive and suitable for all skin types, and I was happily right.
Firstly, when you open the pouch, you’ll find a very wet, and I mean it when I say wet, thick, cloth-tissue type, folded face mask. Once you’ve unfolded, placed and adjusted the mask on your face, let it sit for 10-20 minutes. In the meanwhile, massage the extra liquid remaining in the pouch on your neck. Once done removing the mask, massage your face in circular motion.
While you put it on, you’ll be able to smell the rich and distinctive fragrance of tea tree, which just rejuvenates you, and doesn’t bug the nose, even if you have a sensitive nose like mine.
Once off and massaged, your face will feel cool and fresh with tight pores. My skin felt very fresh and the effect lasted for a day or two. As per acne, since tea tree is good for fighting off acne at any stage, my skin did feel smoother.
I am yet to try the green tea sheet mask, once done, I shall update a review.
Sheet masks are available from Innisfree and The Face Shop at the moment.
Innisfree also has offline presence at Khan Market in New Delhi.
